As we all know, Google Play gift cards are one of the most popular in the world, and also the easiest to receive. Google Play gift cards can be used to buy software, music, games and more from the Google Store. Sometimes when you receive a Google Gift card, whether it’s a digital gift cards or a physical card, you can check out the gift card balance, but you can’t redeem it because “We need more info to redeem your gift card.” This can happen a lot in gift card transactions, but don’t worry, it sounds like a hassle, but it can be fixed.
An information card doesn’t mean your card is used, as long as you’re sure it’s a gift card purchased from a trusted store and hasn’t been used by anyone. Usually this isn’t a problem with your platform of choice, as the card is officially issued by Google.
Here are some instructions for how to redeem cards on your phone:
1.Open the Google Play app.
2.Tap MENU
3.Tap Payments&subscriptions Redeem gift card codes
4.Enter the code
5.Tap redeem
Note: If your gift card was purchased in the United States, it will be redeemed using a American google account, or if you purchased it in Canada, it will be redeemed using a Canadian google account.
After completing the above process, please wait patiently for Google’s feedback.If your card is still not redeemable, you will need to fill in some relevant personal information. It will take some time to review these information. There may be too many cases to review, and the waiting time will be quite long, about a week.
